Anna Dodson, DNP, APRN, CNM

Anna Dodson is a Advanced Practice Registered Nurse certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board as a Nurse Midwife.

Anna grew up in Reston Virginia and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Liberty University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Midwifery from Baylor University. Prior to becoming a midwife, she worked as a registered nurse at Inova Fairfax Women’s Hospital as a postpartum and newborn nursery nurse.

Through her residency she gained comprehensive experiences in full scope midwifery care and care for women across the lifespan including well women exams and gynecologic visits. Anna specializes in treating mothers throughout the antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum period. Anna believes in providing compassionate and holistic care that is evidence-based and is patient centered. In her free time Anna enjoys running, crocheting, baking, hiking and enjoying time with family and friends.
