Janie Villarin is an experienced family nurse practitioner focused on the overall health and wellness of OB/GYN patients by providing up-to-date and excellent care. Ms. Villarin received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia in 1999. While working as a registered nurse in labor & delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and infertility, she attended Georgetown University and received her Masters in Nursing in 2004 to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She is Board-Certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Ms. Villarin is fluent in Spanish and Tagalog (Filipino) in a medical setting. Before joining private practice, she worked for the National Health Service Corps in underserved communities. Her passion for women’s health shows in the thorough care she gives at each visit. Ms. Villarin sees female patients age 13 and up for a variety of reasons. Types of gynecologic visits include Well Women Exams/PAP smears, vaginal/urinary infections, pelvic pain, menstrual cycle issues, PCOS, PMS, fertility, birth control, STDs, and breast issues. Outside of the clinic, Ms. Villarin enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three children.
