Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge with more than 20 years of experience as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Gate City, Virginia in the Southwest end of the state, she graduated from boarding school at Saint Marys in Raleigh, NC and received her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. She worked in labor and delivery for 5 years in Kentucky and in various locations across the US as a traveling nurse, incorporating her love of caring for patients and travel. She returned to Kentucky where she graduated cum laude with her M.S. in Nursing in Women’s Health from the University of Louisville.

 

Throughout her career, her goal has been to get to know each, and every patient personally, and to make every visit and exam as comfortable as possible. She is a lifelong learner and has earned numerous additional certifications and training to expand her experience and breadth of knowledge in caring for her patients. As a result, she is able to perform a variety of in-office procedures and to share her experience working in GYN Oncology for 9 years and serving on the board of The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati preceding her move back to Virginia in 2023. In addition, she is a certified menopause provider credentialed by The Menopause Society and included in the list of providers from The Pause Life list of menopause clinicians. Sarah loves caring for women in this phase of life.

In her free time she enjoys running, yoga, rollerblading, traveling, being outdoors, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
